THE SEABIN PROJECT

Nautica is a proud partner of the Seabin Smart City Sydney Programme. Seabin launched their Smart City program in Sydney in 2019 and aim to be in 100 cities by 2050. From June 2020 – January 2022 the programme has filtered 6.5 billion litres of water and collected 31.3 tonnes of marine debris including 1.4 million pieces of plastic items.

Seabin’s aim is to turn off the tap to plastic pollution using plastic data monitoring, education and clean up, through their 100 smarter cities programme; a mission in line with our focus on creating a bluer world here at Nautica.
