KROST NAUTICA
Krost Nautica is a new collaboration of shoreline designs in neutral fits, made to be worn by everyone.
Who is Krost New York?
Rita Ora, Dwayne Wade, Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber are fans of the simplicity and quality of Krost’s clothing. Founder Samuel Krost’s designs are cut in neutral, unisex fits, delivering one of the brands goals of supporting societal acceptance through inclusivity.
Established in New York in 2018 Krost set out on a mission to increase awareness on societal issues and the importance of community support. A registered philanthropic clothing brand, Krost’s collaborations give back to the causes they support through donations, so they actively make a difference in society and conservation. In 2019 they partnered with the Australian Red Cross to assist those displaced in the devasting forest fires through the sales of a capsule t-shirt collection. Every clothing collaboration spotlights a different cause and uses fashion conversations to make a difference. The brands goal goes beyond awareness using each collection to make a change to the organisation it is connected to. Through Krost’s four collections with Fila, Good Sports has been able to extend their program to increase youth’s access to sports facilities and equipment. Each collection with the Eden project assists reforestation efforts and the two Toms collaborations raise awareness to social change and combating injustice. In 5 years, Krost capsule collections have made a change to 10 organisations, countless lives and global conservation.
Krost Nautica Collaboration
Krost Nautica is a true brand collaboration that seamlessly blends Krost’s recognisable simplicity with Nautica’s water design history. Stripes are updated to rope detailing and the reversible puffer jacket goes from plain to an all-over sailboat print. The collaboration’s unique logo playfully combines Nautica’s iconic J-Class emblem with Krost’s simple statement wording.
Drawing inspiration from Nautica’s archive and 40-year legacy the 18-piece collection is a combination of classic preppy pieces and retro silhouettes. The collegiate fashion trend is captured in the V-neck cardigan with letterman jacket style pocket detail, pique cotton long-sleeve polo shirt and straight leg, cotton canvas chinos.
The collection also features a waterproof jacket and pant set, full zip windbreaker and striped shorts set and reversible puffer jackets.
Suitable for everyone, the gender-neutral clothing is cut in wide fits that deliver a 90s vibe.
The collection is made in Portugal, the world leader in apparel manufacturing. Using only the most premium fabrics, clothing in the region is produced using traditional craftsmanship techniques producing exceptional quality.
The Krost Nautica clothing collection highlights the importance of our seas and the conservation efforts of it. This limited-edition collaboration supports Nautica’s partner Oceana. Focused on ocean conservation, Oceana is the largest international organization whose sole mission is to protect and restore our oceans. To support this cause Nautica and Krost are proud to donate one percent of each sale and 100% of the collections hat sales to Oceana.
Krost Nautica is available from September 5, 2023, exclusively to Nautica online.
